Harlingen, TX ā [March 25, 2025]
Introducing the Margarita Scramble!
The Greater Chamber of Harlingen is excited to announce a major change in its annual events lineup. This year, the Chamber will not be hosting Margarita Fest, but in its place, we are bringing back our highly anticipated Golf Tournament after a nine-year hiatusānow named the Margarita Scramble!
The Margarita Scramble is set to take place on May 31, 2025, at Tony Butler Golf Course. The event will kick off with registration at 7:00 AM, followed by tee time at 8:00 AM. Teams of three can register for $500 per team, which includes a fun-filled day of golf, networking, food, music, and of course, margaritas!
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go toward supporting new and struggling businesses in the area, helping them grow in our community.
āWeāre thrilled to bring back our golf tournament in a way that blends friendly competition with the festive atmosphere our community loves,ā said Javier De Leon, President and CEO of the Greater Chamber of Harlingen. āWhile we wonāt be hosting Margarita Fest this year, the Margarita Scramble will offer a fantastic opportunity for businesses, professionals, and community members to come together for a great cause.ā
