The CEO (Creating Entrepreneurship Opportunities) Program is an initiative that is in collaboration with Harlingen CISD to ensure entrepreneurial growth amongst Harlingen’s new generation of leaders. This collaborative program with HCISD offers a class of young individuals with the tools on how to start their own business, helping them to become self-made entrepreneurs.

Throughout the 5-month course, these students are provided with personalized training from local businesses throughout the Harlingen community. At the end of their course, the students are brought to present their business plan to a panel of judges, Shark Tank style. During the CEO Shark Tank event, the panel of judges critique and provide effective information to better the student’s overall business path. The top 3 students with the best business plan proposals are awarded a check to further invest in their business.
